Jane Fraser, CEO Citigroup Inc. & Mary Barra, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, General Motors will address the Club for the Keynote fireside chat.

The Third Edition of the Women in Business Conference will be co-hosted by The Economic Club of New York along with the Consulate General of Canada and the Consulate General of France.

This year, we will go beyond making the business case for gender diversity and highlight concrete efforts, particularly by institutional investors, to improve the representation of women in investment and senior leadership roles.

The program will address macro trends impacting businesses, including longstanding barriers women continue to face, as well as emerging challenges that threaten to reverse progress made over the last few decades. Discussions will focus on the future of business broadly as well as concrete ways in which business leaders and policy makers can fuel women's empowerment, promote and ensure women’s leadership, and foster inclusive economies in a fast-changing landscape.

Moderated by Marie-Josèe Kravis, ECNY Chairman Emerita, Senior Fellow & Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees, Hudson Institute.

Session 2 (11:15 AM - 12:00 PM)

Chiara Corazza, Managing Director, Women's Forum For The Economy & Society to speak about their G7 call to action report on key issues for an inclusive recovery including guidance on how to promote gender equality and empower women in the workplace, marketplace and community.

Session 3 (12:30 PM - 1:30 PM)

Panel discussion with:
Mark Machin, President and CEO, CPP Investments, Sophie Bellon, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, Thai Lee, CEO, SHI International.
